Finished week two. Tomorrow starts Week 03 of the Revamp

Tactical Barbell

Moved up to 3x5 at 80% 1RM. Monday was difficult. Friday was easier, though Saturday I was exhausted. It wasn’t DOMS, but my body was rebelling. It may have also been some mild dehydration catching up to me or a bad night’s sleep. By Sunday—a gallon of water and a hard night’s sleep later, it has resolved itself.

Monday’s session was… easy. Even the assisted pull-ups, felt almost comfortable. The next lifting session, hits 90% 1RM for 3x3. Won’t lie. There’s trepidation.

Running

15 miles for the week. Mostly slow, with walking where needed to stay in Z2. The one workout was a set of 3x5 tempo intervals. By Monday’s warmup, I held a solid ten minutes at an easy jog.

The upcoming week is uninteresting, except the long run. Aiming for 9’sh miles around the new place. There’s some news on the route planning and activity tracker front, but that’ll be a separate post.
